General Dentist
Dr. Kagan received her degree from the University at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine in 2004. Since then she has been on an adventure practicing dentistry, exploring the fields of TMJ disorder and Sleep Apnea and learning about the body through her own yoga practice. Her curiosity about the body went even so far as to become certified in acupuncture. The past 5 years have been a deep dive into ALF Therapy. She's been lucky to call the field's inventor and leaders her teachers and mentors. Dr. Kagan has a way of connecting the mouth, body and individual that just makes you feel better.
Treatment Coordinator
Kimberly has been in the Health Management industry for over 20 years. She has an impressive track record of leading innovative ideas while empowering and educating patients. After seeing first hand the health transformation of her own children under Dr. Kagan's care, joining Integrative Dentals Arts of WNY was an easy decision.
Dental Assistant
A welcomed new addition to the team, Jessica was wide eyed when she first began working with Dr. Kagan. Although she has been a dental assistant for many years, she knew she'd learn a whole new set of skills in this office.

ALF Therapy uses a deceptively simple oral appliance that interacts with nervous system to create periods of rest, growth and expansion of the jaws. More on that later.
TMJ appliances used are as low profile as an oral appliance gets with out being an ALF. It is based on the same principles as the ALF and can be thought of as a static ALF. We call it an NLA.
Sleep Apnea Appliances hold the lower jaw forward when worn during sleep. This allows the airway to stay opened and stops the collapse of the airway space.
We use a Team Approach as the ALF Therapy principles are based on integrating principles of osteopathy as well as the reinvigorating oral function. Commonly, body workers and myofunctional therapists are recommended.
Self care exercises are taught and recommended to help you retrain your neuromuscular patterns and manage facial and TMJ tension in between your appointments. It empowers you!
Soft tissue, photo-biomodulation laser therapy that gently releases restrictions between muscle and fascia while improving neurologic function by integrating body's inherent reflexive and neurologic systems resulting in improved oral function and neurologic self regulation.
